We are looking to recruit a number of TAs to work across our Federation (soon to become Primary School) to support children in their learning, to help them overcome any barriers and to become the best versions of themselves.

 Our Federation provides education for children across campus from the ages of 2 – 12 years old.  We pride ourselves in being an inclusive setting who work closely as a team to ensure the best outcomes for all our pupils, whatever their ability. From September 2025 our schools will merge to become one primary school.

We are looking for a motivated team member to cover a permanent full-time position of 32.5 hours per week. Of this, 2.5 hours will be paid as a Children’s Supervisor to support children over the lunch period.

The successful applicant will ideally have some experience and hold a Grade ‘C’ in both English and Maths.  The candidate will be a highly effective and innovative team member, ensuring a high-quality education for all of our pupils with the highest standards of learning and achievement.  The promotion of inclusivity and a nurturing approach are essential skills.

We have an Autism Base along with a much higher proportion than National Average of children with significant complex need, therefore inclusion, meeting the needs of all and resilience must be areas of strength.

Lunchtime Supervisor

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Scale Point 2 – 5 hours per week – FTE £23,656

Contract: Term Time only.

Application Closing Date:  Once suitable candidates are found.

Abbey Park First and Nursery School are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated, Lunchtime Supervisor.

The role will involve supervising the children during lunchtime and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. 

The successful candidate will need to be a good communicator with high expectations and a real empathy for children. Some experience of working with or caring for children on either a voluntary or professional basis would be advantageous.  Training will be provided.

Abbey Park Schools Federation includes, Abbey Park Middle School, Abbey Park First and Nursery School, as well as a Governor led Pre-School, all on the same site.  These schools will merge to become Abbey Park Primary School plus Year 7 on 1st September 2025.

We are looking for a motivated, innovative team member to cover a lunchtime supervisor position of 1 hour per day.  Working with primary age children (plus year 7).

We expect all members of staff to share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  Successful applicants must undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
