If you have concerns about SEND, please speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance. You can also contact our SENDCo, Mrs Witts, via e-mail (sw@abbeypark.worcs.sch.uk) or through the school office.
Experiencing long waits for health appointments?
A new website has been created to support children, young people, and their families in Worcestershire who are experiencing long waits for health appointments.
This includes services such as Community Paediatrics, the Umbrella Pathway, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and CAMHS.
Developed by the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care System (ICB), the website provides a range of local and national resources, including online tools, telephone advice, and access to in-person groups.
Due to the high demand for Worcestershire’s Children’s Community Health Services, many children and young people are facing longer waits for their first appointment. We understand how challenging and frustrating this can be for families, and the ICB is working hard to improve waiting times.

The team are offering a series of seven free webinars exploring different aspects of autism in children and young people, open to all parents, carers, and professionals living in Herefordshire and Worcestershire,
Each webinar will provide information, strategies, and insights to support understanding and confidence when working with or caring for autistic individuals.
If you’re unable to attend a live session, you can still register to receive a recording, which will be available to watch for up to two weeks afterwards. Below are the details for these webinars alongside the registration links:
